Death (Joie de Vivre)

Metamorphosis ventures into the unknown, riding a bat named Destiny through an interdimensional passage toward the star of rebirth. As she travels, her blood-red flower sheds its petals, symbolizing the release of what no longer serves: habits, beliefs, identities, and cycles completed.

Death is far more than the ending of physical form; it is the great initiator of change. Without transformation, life would settle into inertia. This card speaks of profound transition; of shedding the old so something truer may emerge. What appears as loss is a gateway, where the past becomes the groundwork for renewal, and destruction reveals itself as the first act of creation.
